Ice Hockey Victoria Summer League

The Melbourne Ice Wolves Seniors currently compete in the Ice Hockey Victoria Summer League. The Summer League is administered by Ice Hockey Victoria and is held across both O'Brien Icehouse in Docklands and Olympic Ice Skating Centre.

Teams and Divisions

The Melbourne Ice Wolves currently field the following teams

  • Lone Wolves (Division 3)

  • Dire Wolves (Division 3)

  • Red Wolves (Division 4)

  • Arctic Wolves (Division 5)

Season Dates

The IHV Summer League runs between November and April. Most divisions are run in the following format:

  • 5 Grading Rounds

  • 10 Regular Season Games

  • Finals consisting of a Semi-Final game, Preliminary Final and Grand Final


To keep costs at a minimum this season, training is provided on an ad hoc basis at $25 per session. Available training times will be posted to the store and to the Melbourne Ice Wolves facebook group when available. Typical training sessions consist of a half ice split session with another team. Coaches are provided at every session.


Ice Hockey Victoria

If a player has previously registered with IHV for the 2020 Ice  Hockey Victoria Winter season, a player will only need to pay $45 for this season. Players can pay their registration here

Club Fees

Melbourne Ice Wolves club fees total $500 for the season for 2021/22. 

Installment 1: $250 due 1st December 2021

Installment 2: $250 due 20th January 2022


Players are required to have a home and away jersey. They cost $155 each and can be purchased from the store here.


The Ice Wolves family is one of the few clubs in Victoria where a player can graduate from the Junior system and continue their Wolves journey. Players over 16 are welcome to join the Senior Melbourne Ice Wolves squad in the Ice Hockey Victoria summer competition. Players of all genders and levels are welcomed into our Ice Wolves family.
