Melbourne Ice Wolves also are proud to be part of the IceHQ Junior Summer League, further growing our Ice Wolves family.

The IceHQ Junior Summer league has its beginnings in Summer 2021 and exists to provide a fun and safe approach to hockey development for all ages and gender identities.

Age Divisions

​

• Junior A, 15-17yo (Full checking, males only)

• Junior B, 9-14yo (Non-checking, mixed)

• Junior C, 5-9yo cross ice development (Non-checking, mixed): baseline ice skating experience required

Coaching

​

The IceHQ Junior Summer League provides a strategic approach that ensures junior players of ALL ages have a viable summer program to partake in, with the Junior A division ensuring that players looking to bridge the gap between competitive winter seasons,

Season Dates

 

• 30th January 2022 through 27th March 2022.

• Semi finals - 3rd April on Sunday morning (9 rounds + 2 weekends of finals)

• Grand Final - 10th April

Fees

​

$320 season fees (including grading skate and finals)

 

Your $75 deposit will be deducted from the league fees and the balance can be paid over two instalments:

​

• 50% - prior to Round 1

• 50%  - prior to Round 5

​

Scheduling & Grading

​

Teams will be formed via two grading skates and selected by a panel of coaches led by Michael McMahon and Steve Belic.

Junior B 8am-9am
Junior A 9.15am-10.15am
